La Cave

The visit begins with an electric train ride deep into the heart of the cave. Ascending by stairs or by elevator to the main cavern, a collection of twelve rooms, visitors are rewarded with an hour and a half long tour through spectacular natural wonders of the underground. The cave’s signature room, “The Hall of Wonders”, boasts 2000 square meters of natural black light rising from an underground pool that blanket the cavern in an eerie phosphorous glow.  Call ahead for special concerts during the summer months in the “Chaos Hall” for unique musical/auditory experience, notes echoing off the limestone walls. Sweaters and/or windbreakers are recommended. Photographs are authorized.
